My son and I visited today and I can honestly say that it has been the most enjoyable dining experience I've had in a really long time...maybe ever! We were greeted with a smile and seated immediately despite it being during a typically busy time and with a BIG convention going on across the road. Mitchell was our waiter and he was amazing! Our meal was brought to us extremely fast (it was delicious and those fritters...slap-your-momma-good!!) and we were checked on several times! My 14 yr old son even went on and on about how wonderful everything was! I am a big fan and will definitely be a return customer! Wonderful job!!!( Mendy W )
We were in the area for a conference at the Gaylord and I saw the Caney Fork was nearby. I had never tried frog legs, alligator, and the other wild game they were advertising so I convinced the group I was with to try it out. We got the wild game sampler and I loved the frog legs. I had gator steak as well and it was different, but good. All the food was priced appropriately and the staff was great. The decor is unique and fun. I would definitely visit this restaurant again if we're in the area. Oh, try to get a seat near the pond, the fish were neat to watch.( Shara M )
